To those that knew it, it looks like the crazy RPG hit-points-and-magic stuff has gone home. Sorry for those who were close to it. I don't think it left any notes or belongings for anyone, but I'm sure it'll be better off where it came from.

No, I don't know. I think I agree, but at the same time, if it changes, it's still similar to how it was before. If that makes any sense.

I kind of was too. I don't know, I'm really not that smart, so I just take things as they make sense to me. One at a time. And it's not like I have the ability to affect all that much in practice. Maybe it has to do with my friend Sasaki, too.

You've never really stricken me as someone who's dumb. Who's Sasaki?

Well, I wouldn't say dumb either. But I'm no war strategist, or natural thinker, or philosopher.

Sasaki is my friend from middle school. The kind of person who was always being theoretical and methodical about whatever topic was being discussed at the time. I guess that was a pretty big influence, though it's hard to really know how much, right?

I think the only one even close to that is Minato, actually.

...I don't know. I've had friends that influenced me a lot, too, and I can even pinpoint just how much. I don't know if there's anything good to come from being only theoretical and methodical.

Yeah, Arisato. But Silverberg is a war strategist, or so he said. Koizumi, at home, might as well be a philosopher for all I know. And you know how Maebara is, running on at the mouth like he has information rabies.

Well, Sasaki certainly got a lot out of it. I guess Koizumi might say he did, too. Anyway, I don't really know how else to proceed, honestly. It's how I do math, too. Nothing fancy. Just one step at a time.

I mean I guess it's okay. The world needs those kind of people, too, but I guess I've just never really understood how people can be so methodical and theoretical. My whole life is based on doing multiple things and doing them in a creative way. If I went with method, I'd be a really boring designer.

Well, there's a lot of method to the way you make stuff too, right? Otherwise it'd all end up lopsided and crap. You have to take it step by step to make your idea come true. I guess I just don't have any ideas, so I just do the step by stepping.

Okay, okay, you're right. I have to take a lot of time measuring and remeasuring but after that I don't work with method. Maybe I can help you get some ideas though.

Well, I do. I have. I'm not Koizumi. It's just that with Haruhi as the calibration for what's reasonable and what's not, things like what you say always seem reasonable to say yes to.
