I guess most of them are also Haruhi's friends, but there's a few I've met on my own. It's not so bad, I guess. Only one of those fearsome experiments so far. I only have to deal with a hyperactive little kid every now and then, instead of every morning.

And despite drafts and the occasional crazy person there isn't much violence in the village, if people do die it isn't permanent, and there is enough facilities here to let someone live a normal life if you look at it on a day by day basis.
